Tired of digital work, being employed, working on commission, and remote work, the author found herself spending more time at Mukonosho Station, her local station, during the pandemic. As her local connections and analog life, travels and contemplations expanded to include shrines, cafes, supermarkets, curry shops, pet shops, and parks, she eventually decided to open a bookstore in town. This book is an essay about her journey to that point, plus a personal guide to the town.
