If life is hard, create.

Mr. Adachi, the owner of "Gasaki Base" in Amagasaki, acquired

300 tsubo of land and two houses for almost nothing.

This story was born from Mr. Adachi's continuous creation,

even while he experienced rock bottom.

"Economic rationality" is not just one thing.

This book explores ways of living through a dialogue with the author, who opened "Tsukureru Honya" (A Bookshop Where You Can Create) while struggling with life's difficulties.

Gasaki Base in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. This renovated factory is a unique place where you can drink coffee and learn DIY.

Due to his connection with Gasaki Base, the owner, Shigeyuki Adachi, received one house in Shimane for free. While pulling out trees from that house, he ended up receiving another house behind it.

Why did such a thing happen? This book unravels this mystery along with Mr. Adachi's childhood struggles, family, DIY, work, money... all common concerns for people today.

Creating connects people and things.
