Written and bound in 4 days. This is DIY BOOKS' owner's first-ever manga. The title is "Bakugan Papa: Creating a Place for Anger." The content explores the importance of anger and a place for expression.
Our generation, born between April 1982 and March 1983, was once called the "Enraged 17-year-olds." Even though I'm past 42, I still find myself getting frustrated and angry. What my counselor taught me was to be aware of the boundaries between myself and others. If a problem arises, it's okay to draw that boundary and make a note of it. For example, you might help someone out of kindness, but if their reaction is a nonchalant "hmm," you get angry. But you can't control others' reactions. The idea was to reflect on that premise. Trying to control the other person's reaction can also be due to parental over-involvement. What I remembered then was that this Venn diagram was similar to the "definition of literature" I learned in college.
And at its root, perhaps it was the memories of war from my father's and grandfather's generations, "always a battlefield in my heart."
I'll be looking back at these things in the manga.
